Simple

Ashley and Kevin made their wedding a small, simple affair in an old community church in the rolling hills near Columbia, Missouri.  There was no cake to cut at the reception (they don't like cake!), no garter throwing, no rice slinging-- just close friends and family and a young couple ready to start their life together.

Last Train to Springdale

I found a defunct boxcar at the Springdale Rail Station recently.  Not sure we were supposed to be up in there, but we couldn't help ourselves.  The car itself had a great patina; but more importantly, the building across from it was an off-white color that reflected the evening sun and gave the kiddos nice creamy skin tones.

Hurricane Rain

We tend to think of hurricanes as bad things, but here in the Ozarks they usually bring us much needed rain this time of year.  Thanks to Hermine, we're getting a good soaking.

The creeks are filling up, and hopefully the trees will have a chance to show some nice fall color soon.

Chicken Truck

No, not the smelly, feather-spewing tractor-trailer kind.  This guy is just one of many quirky characters in the wacky world of Terra Studios in Durham, Arkansas.

Pool Party

I had the pleasure of hanging out with a great bunch of ladies for a special birthday.  As you can see, they were very camera shy.
